A $125 gift gives a Flint student a full week of world-class tap training, with catered meals every day.

From July 27 through July 31, 2026, students take over the University of Michigan-Flint for Tapology’s Summer Tap Intensive, a full week of training with master tap artists from across the country. This year, Tapology offered full scholarships so that children can attend at no cost to their families, and we provided free tuition for our alumni instructors who return home to teach. Your gift helps us cover those scholarships and open seats for more kids.

Two Ways to Give

1. Sponsor a Student: $125

One gift of $125 sponsors one child’s seat for the entire week. It covers five days of intensive training and catered meals each day. Sponsor one seat, or sponsor several.

2. Sponsor the Shoe Bank: Help Us Reach $3,000

Rigorous training requires a quality shoe that supports and protects a growing dancer’s feet. Too many of our students train in shoes that are worn out or too small because their families cannot afford new ones. The Tapology Shoe Bank provides good tap shoes for students in our intensive, after school, and outreach programs. Our goal this summer is $3,000 for new shoes.
